Editors are expected to:
- handle submissions fairly and objectively;
- make editorial decisions based on academic merit, relevance, originality, methodological quality, and ethical compliance;
- maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts;
- avoid conflicts of interest;
- select qualified reviewers with relevant expertise;
- ensure that peer review is conducted fairly and responsibly;
- take appropriate action when ethical concerns, plagiarism, data issues, or publication misconduct are identified;
- support corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when required.
